While at a friend’s wedding, I couldn’t help but notice a set of picture frames displayed on the gift table. At second glance, I realized they were wedding photos from the bride and groom’s parents and grandparents. I immediately thought what a great way to connect with the couple’s family history and honor the memory of their late grandparents.

Who says that wedding colors have to be one dimensional. Brides are bored with traditional color schemes and having to choose a different color than their girlfriend picked last year for their upcoming wedding. Why not choose a fun print or an exciting floral pattern for your bridesmaids dresses to add some style and make your wedding unique.
1. Jcrew / Floral Lorelei dress / $250
2. Jcrew / Floral Lorelei dress / $250
3. Jcrew / Betty dress / $198
4. Anthropologie / Centifolia Corset Dress / $188
5. Johnny’s Bridal / Style 2001 / $185
6. Anthropologie / Annular Dress / $158
Another fun idea is to mix up the bridesmaids by dressing the maid of honor in a pattern, while the rest of the bridesmaids wear a complementary solid color. Jcrew makes this easy because they offer seasonal colors that compliment each other nicely, without the traditional bridesmaid dress look. Your friends will be much happier with a dress then can wear again and not just stick in the closet.

On your wedding day, you want to look like a million bucks but not actually pay for it. Most brides purchase jewelry specifically for their wedding day and only end up wearing it once. So why not rent those beautiful jewelry pieces and save yourself the high costs of purchasing.
You have a few options when choosing a place to rent luxury jewelry items. Check with your local jewelry store to see if they offer jewelry rental programs. You may be surprised what kind of deal you can make if you just ask.
Online retailer Adorn Brides lets you browse their jewelry collection and reserve the date of your wedding. They ship your ordered pieces two business days before your event and you return it using the included packaging and label to Adorn the next business day after your wedding. Each piece is insured, which is included in the rental price. An example rental price is $100 for diamond necklace that retails at $2,000.
Shop early to ensure the jewelry pieces you want are available for your wedding date. Check the jewelry store/website’s insurance policy before agreeing to rent any pieces. Keep all rented pieces in a designated safe place on the day of the wedding. You are responsible for returning them and can end up paying an insurance deductible if they are lost or stolen.
